Hard to believe we are almost half way through this edition of Spot the Sig!
I think this one should be a little easier than last weeks chicken-scratch and it is good for a Double and All Runners Score.
Bonus:
If your having trouble with this weeks auto, well we have a Cartoon that will hopefully brighten up your day.
For those of you that have played Spot the Sig! before, you are likely aware that to get the cartoon bonus you will need to guess the card number upon which the above Daffy-Nition appears. This weeks bonus is good for a single and runners advance two bases. If the correct card number is not guessed the person who guesses closest to the card number gets the bonus. Only the first guess for a given card number will be considered for this bonus - in other words duplicate guesses cannot get the bonus.
Spot the Sig! standings going into the 5th inning.
Paul's Random Stuff - Mets: one run scored. Men at 2nd and 3rd.
Autographed Cards - Royals: one run scored. Men at 2nd and 3rd.
Night Owl - Dodgers: Men on First and 2nd

Adam Lind
ReplyDeleteI think Adam Lind looks correct as well!
ReplyDeleteAnd a blind guess for the bonus. Card # 242.
Adam Lind. It'd be nice if the comments were hidden so that it doesn't look like everyone is just copying
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be Lind. I suspect that cartoon is from a certain card set that has escaped my clutches. I have like 2 cards from it.
ReplyDeleteSo, complete guess: #133.
A quick winner - Adam Lind is correct - Bonus will remain open till 6pm on Monday Night.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Card Buzz - almost has to be a Lind fan to pick this one this quick.
361
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot easier than last week. Too bad I forgot about it.
ReplyDelete201 for the bonus.
Of course, I was sleeping when the post and answer went up! The danger of working nights I guess. I'm going with #53 for the bonus.
ReplyDeleteaaarrrggghh 1955 Topps #53 Bill Taylor.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Brian,if you got the answer crow about it so other people don't waste time going through all their cards.
Dayf, you're absolutely right. It didn't cross my mind to do that and that was pretty thoughtless. Won't happen again.
ReplyDelete#53 is correct for the Bonus - Congrats to Brian and Laurens. I will try and get a summary up either later today or Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Brian. My grandmother also did that to me once. ONCE........
ReplyDelete(name that reference!)
Dayf, that would be Johnny Dangerously if memory serves.
