Spot the Sig - 6th Inning

I think somebody is going to score a run tonight, as this weeks Auto is worth a Home Run!

Through 5 innings we have had five different Spot the Sig! winners.  Everybody has been diligently working on the bonus questions, so there are a lot of ducks on the pond.

Bonus
Team Phungo was at the Philly Show this weekend and spent way to much cash.  Your task for the bonus is to guess the Year of the earliest card that was added to the Phungo collection.  I will let you know that $57 was spent on cards that were not autos or relics, and that the most money that was spent on a single card was $1.    Ground Rule:  Guesses for the bonus must be unique.  Duplicate entries will be ignored

  1. For crying out loud, how do people respond so quickly?

My fellow Greg would agree, this is an easy one.

  2. I wholeheartedly agree with my fellow Greg; fortunately, this one was easy for me.

Greg, unless I miss my guess, is an Ethier fan. I would have known Moyer like that too. I got the A right away, but got hung up on the second cap.

  4. dawgbones is correct. I like Ethier and have seen his autograph plenty of times, certainly enough to have it memorized by now.

  5. Grand Slam!!!

Congrats to GregZ of Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle who hits the first grand slam in STS History!

6 Spot the Sig! Innings and we have had 6 different winners! I am amazed.

Bonus remains open till Noon on Tuesday. Greg Z has jumped out to a big lead, but lots of folks have runners on base - the final three innings should be interesting.

  6. Oldest card was a 49.

I'm guessing that the Either auto is from 2007 Bowman Best. Any chance on bonus bases for that??

  7. I'm always asleep when these get posted! I'll go 1963 for the bonus.

Agreed, PatP; these West Coast spot the sig games are tough to stay awake for. Doubly when vacationing in Florida.
