I'm super excited about his call up. Did baseball ever lay down specific rules for him. I knew they were talking about that he could switch sides in the middle of an at bat.
Yes, there is essentially the Venditte rule. The Batter gets final say if there is a Switch Pitcher vs Switch Hitter situation.
At least that is what they did at lower levels.
Not sure if they actually wrote the rule for the majors.
